AI Imaginate Sketch, Save edited image. As always, it’s an absolute pleasure for us to share the latest updates on what our team has been working on to enhance your experience with PitchPrint. As we close out our final post of the year, we reflect on the progress we’ve made throughout 2024. While we’re sad to see the year end, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished and are excited for the innovations we have in store for 2025.
This service provides an ideal solution for design projects that involve brainstorming and frequent iterations. It transforms rough hand-drawn sketches into polished, high-quality outputs with precise control. For non-sketch images, it enables detailed manipulation of the final appearance by utilizing the contour lines and edges within the image. For a clearer explanation, please see the image below:
Please reload your layouts to see the sketch button in the editor.
AI Imaginate Structure - This service excels at generating images while preserving the structure of the input, making it particularly valuable for advanced content creation tasks such as recreating scenes or rendering characters from models. For a clearer explanation, please see the image below:
Please reload your layouts to see the structure button in the editor.
Previously, we only saved the AI-generated image and did not always retain the original image to which the filter was applied. However, we’ve made an update to improve this process. Now, both the generated image and the original image with the applied filter are available in the Uploads tab.
We identified an issue where the color editor in the admin panel would be cut off when editing colors near the bottom of the webpage. This issue has now been resolved, and all color editing pop-ups will display fully within the browser window.
We identified an issue where, after performing a search on Pixabay and scrolling, the scroll position wouldn’t reset to the top when initiating a new search. However, the page would remain in the same area as the previous scroll. This issue has now been addressed and the scroll will now reset to the top each time a new search is initiated.
We discovered an issue where, after removing the background from images generated using AI Imaginate, the images would revert to a low resolution instead of retaining their original quality. This issue has now been resolved, and all images will maintain their resolution as intended.
That’s all for this year, folks! Wishing you a wonderful festive season with your loved ones. We look forward to seeing you next year, God willing, with exciting new updates and fixes. From all of us at the PitchPrint Team!🤗
Generate a single Project for All Variations, Edit product in Cart on Shopify, Sort Designs in Admin. As we mentioned in our previous update, we have some exciting developments in the works that we’re eager to share with you in the coming weeks. It’s always a pleasure to reveal the hard work our team has been putting in to enhance your experience with PitchPrint. Stay tuned for more updates!
Previously, our system would segregate all records from the CSV and place each record into a separate file. We have now introduced an option that allows the admin to download all records into a single print file, offering enhanced convenience and efficiency. By default, the records will still be segregated into individual files, but once the admin enables this new functionality, all records will be consolidated into one file. Please follow the steps below to enable this amazing new feature:Go to Modules.
Ensure that variable data is enabled. Next, activate the “Generate one project for all variations” option, as shown below, and click “Save” to apply the changes.
In the past, once a customer clicked the “Add to Cart” button after customizing a product, they had limited options — either they would leave the item as is or start over if they missed something or made a mistake. We’ve listened to your feedback, and we’re excited to introduce the Edit from Cart functionality on Shopify. Now, customers can easily make changes to their customization directly from the cart if they forgot something or need to correct an error. This new feature not only enhances the customer experience but also contributes to better retention and reduces the need for refunds on orders. The customer simply needs to click on the product image in their cart to return to the editor and make any necessary changes.
We have introduced a new functionality that automatically sorts design files alphabetically and numerically. This feature will be available to all accounts by default.
One of our customers reported an issue where the DPI warning icon would persist even after an image was upscaled. We’ve addressed this, and the warning will now automatically disappear once the image has been upscaled to an appropriate resolution.
We identified an issue where both the end user and admin were able to scale a text field below the minimum font size specified in the settings. This has been resolved, and text fields will now adhere to the minimum font size set either per design or in the general settings.
That’s all for this week! Be sure to join us in our next post for some exciting updates and fixes. Wishing you a wonderful weekend from the PitchPrint Team! 🤗
Verify all pages, Delete Layouts. As we approach the end of the year, we’re thrilled to share that we have many exciting projects in the pipeline! Our team has been working diligently to enhance your experience on PitchPrint, and we can’t wait to unveil what we’ve been developing.
This fantastic feature allows customers to preview all pages of their design before submission. Many administrators face challenges with refunds and incorrect print files, which can lead to revenue loss and increased workload. With this functionality, customers will be unable to submit their designs without reviewing every page.Once activated, we will check if a design has multiple pages. If it does, a “Next” button will appear, guiding users through each page until they reach the last one, at which point the “Submit” button will be displayed. This will help identify and resolve any issues before purchase, ultimately reducing the burden on administrators. To activate this fantastic feature, please navigate to the settings and enable the option shown in the image below:
This feature has been highly anticipated. Previously, account admins had to reach out to us to remove unused layouts from their accounts. As a result, a long list of obsolete layouts would often accumulate because admins couldn’t delete them on their own. We’re excited to introduce this new functionality, which now allows admins to delete layouts directly. Additionally, we’ve included a warning prompt to ensure you’re confident in the action you’re about to take. Check out the images below for a closer look:
One of our customers encountered an issue where the titles in the design selector, default tabs specified in the design settings, and other configuration data did not update when changing designs using the Design Selector. We have resolved this issue, and now all configuration data and settings should correctly reflect the selected design.
The Smart Replace feature was previously yielding incorrect results, not aligning with the prompts provided by customers. We have addressed this issue, and it should now accurately display images based on the exact search prompts entered.
That’s all for this week, everyone! We’ll see you next time. Have a wonderful weekend from all of us at PitchPrint!🤗
Sort fonts alphabetically, Sort resources alphabetically, CustomerId in Projects. We’re always thrilled to keep you updated on what the team has been doing to enhance your experience with PitchPrint.
Previously, customers had to scroll through a long list of fonts to find the right one. While we recently introduced a font search feature, the lack of alphabetical organization still made it challenging. We’re happy to announce that we’ve now sorted the fonts alphabetically, making it even easier for users to find what they’re looking for!
Previously, categories within backgrounds, pictures, and text arts were displayed in a random order for customers on the front end. We have now organized the resources in the dropdown menu so that they appear in alphabetical order within the Backgrounds, Pictures, and Text Art tabs. This improvement allows users to find the desired category more easily. Please refer to the images below for more details.
We have included the customer ID in the project details within the Projects section of the PitchPrint admin interface. This enhancement enables admins to download files directly from PitchPrint for order fulfillment, facilitating easier identification of the customer linked to each project. Please see the image below for further clarification.
Some of our customers encountered an issue where end users could still edit a project after adding the product to the cart. This resulted in recent customizations overriding the unique customization images for each product, causing all items in the cart to display the same image. We have resolved this issue by clearing the PitchPrint session once an item is added to the cart. When the customer returns to the product pages to continue shopping, a new session is created, ensuring that each item in the cart retains its own customized image. This enhancement eliminates confusion for end users, allowing them to see exactly what they designed for each product.
That concludes our updates for this week. We look forward to seeing you in our next exciting blog post. Wishing you a wonderful weekend from the PitchPrint team!🤗
Search fonts by letter, Warning Pop up for Project Deletion. We are delighted to share the latest updates aimed at enhancing your experience with PitchPrint. As we welcome Spring here in Cape Town, we are excited to announce that we have several fantastic updates planned for the coming months. We look forward to unveiling these improvements and enhancing your PitchPrint experience.
In our ongoing effort to improve user experience, we’ve introduced a new feature to simplify font navigation. Manually scrolling through a long list of fonts can be time-consuming, so we’ve added the ability for both administrators and end users to search for fonts using alphabetical letters. For a visual representation of this functionality, please refer to the image below.
While the recent activity list provides admins with the ability to restore deleted assets, many of our customers have requested an additional confirmation step to ensure that asset deletion is intentional. In response to this feedback, we have implemented a pop-up warning message to provide an extra layer of confirmation before proceeding with asset deletion.
Our design observables module utilises element selectors to identify the variations passed to the designer. We have addressed a concern reported by some customers regarding selectors with special characters. The code has been updated to properly handle special characters within selectors. The module is now capable of working seamlessly with any variable from the product page, including those containing special characters.
A webhook is an endpoint triggered when a specific action is performed. On PitchPrint, we offer four webhooks: File Uploaded, Project Saved, Order Processing, and Order Completed. Once a webhook is created and linked to any of these actions, it ensures that a designated event is triggered when the action is fulfilled. Many customers use our order webhooks to automate processes, such as sending files to a printer or directly to the end user. We recently identified and resolved an issue where the PDF download links in the webhook responses were incorrect. The download links have now been fixed and should function properly across all platforms.
Thank you for joining us this week. We will return soon with more feature updates and bug fixes. Wishing you a wonderful and productive week from the PitchPrint Team. 🤗.
Runtime Endpoint to Fetch User projects, Move customize button, Add product to Cart.We are pleased to update you on the recent efforts of our team to enhance your experience on PitchPrint.
We added an exciting new feature which allows an admin to fetch user projects with the help of the userId. To make use of this feature please use the following endpoint https://api.pitchprint.com/runtime/fetch-user-projects. Then use your Secret key as an Authorisation in the header. Your secret key can be found on the following link. Additionally you need to pass the userId as JSON in the body. Please have a look at an example with cURL below:curl —location ‘https://api.pitchprint.com/runtime/fetch-user-projects’
—header ‘Authorization: &3SQxBRONb#aa(^uiC@v*4aM8DkQR^’
—header ‘Content-Type: application/json’
—data ’{
“userId”: “5629946986554”
}‘
We are thrilled to introduce a long-awaited feature that addresses a frequent customer request. Previously, repositioning buttons required manual code changes, which often caused issues, particularly after site updates. With this new feature, admins can now effortlessly select an element on their site where they want to place a button, and it will automatically be positioned before the chosen element. This streamlined process reduces potential disruptions. You can find this new feature under Store Settings in the settings menu. Please refer to the image below for guidance:
We’re also excited to introduce a highly requested feature designed to streamline and speed up the design process for store owners. When activated, this feature will automatically redirect customers to the Cart, skipping the product page entirely. You can enable this option under Designer Settings, and we’ve included an illustrative image below for your reference:
That concludes our updates for this week. Stay tuned for more exciting new features and enhancements coming soon. Have an awesome week from the PitchPrint Team 🤗
It’s been a while but I can assure you we’re working hard as always to make your experience on PitchPrint an even better one.Photo Print Module datain PDF Bookmarks - A while ago we released a feature which adds the data of the Photo Module to the PDF you can read more about it here. When we released this feature we only had two PDF distillers at that point in time. We have however added a third PDF distiller since then. We are pleased to announce that we have now added this amazing feature to PDF distiller version 3. This functionality allows the admin to see all the data regarding the Photo Print Module within the bookmark of the PDF.
We’re working hard at making sure that all of our platforms are equal with regards to functionality, so without further a do. We added the Design Observables module to the WIX platform this amazing category module now works on all WIX stores. Please read more about design observables on the following link.
In the past the Shopify Products search was only limited to exact product search. However this was cumbersome for our customer’s since it would only pull up a product if you used the exact name of that product. We implemented the partial search which allows you to search for a product using one or more keywords which the name contains.
We updated the AI Image tool with two new features Outpaint and Smart Replace. Outpaint service inserts additional content in an image, basically expands the image. Smart replace allows users to leverage a search_prompt to identify an object to be replaced in an image. The service will automatically segment the object and replace it with the object requested in the prompt.
We know our 3D models are loved but it doesn’t stop there for us we’ve been creating entire scenes to not only allow end users to preview products, but also to view and change different products within an environment. Please have a look at a few of our scenes below:
Well that’s it for this week folks. See you guys next time with some more awesome features and fixes. Have an amazing weekend from the PitchPrint Team 🤗!
Mini Mode on WIX, Cart Image functionality on WIX.We’re back with our very first release note for this year, with plenty more to come! As always we love keeping you up to date with what our team has been working on to make your experience even better! What’s new🚀,
Our journey on WIX has seen significant progress since our initial integration on the platform, with ongoing functionality enhancements to enrich the user experience. A notable recent feature addition is the support for Mini Mode, allowing users to enjoy all three display modes seamlessly on WIX.
We’ve also made significant enhancements to the way cart images function on WIX. By refining our code, we’ve optimised the loading process, resulting in faster performance and smoother user experience. These refinements ensure that cart images load efficiently and seamlessly integrate into the overall end user shopping experience on the platform.
We resolved an issue related to mini mode and uploads within clickable masks. Previously, if the shape deviated from a square or rectangle, the functionality would unfortunately not work. With our fix, uploads now function seamlessly regardless of the shape, ensuring compatibility with Mini display mode.
There was an issue on PitchPrint where products failed to display when an admin visited the products page. Initially, products failed to show up upon the first load, necessitating a page reload for visibility. However, we’ve addressed this issue, ensuring that products now appear promptly upon the initial page load.
Well that’s it for this week’s updates, stay tuned for more exciting features and fixes. Have a lovely week from the PitchPrint Team!🤗
