The PitchPrint Runtime API lets your server fetch designs and projects, clone projects, and render print-ready files for your domain. Use it server-side, authenticated with your domain’s API Key and Secret Key.

Base URL

All Runtime API calls are made to:
Rendered files are served from dedicated hosts: pdf.pitchprint.com for PDFs and png.pitchprint.com (or jpeg) for raster images.

Authentication

Every /runtime/ request is authenticated with a signature, which is the MD5 hash of your API Key, Secret Key and a UNIX timestamp:
You send apiKey, timestamp and signature with each request, never the Secret Key itself. See Authentication for the full walkthrough and code samples.
Your Secret Key must stay server-side. Never expose it in browser code or a public repository.

Request format

  • Send parameters as a JSON body (not query-string pairs) with Content-Type: application/json.
  • Requests are POST, except file rendering which is GET.
  • The timestamp is valid for a one-hour window. Generate a fresh signature for each call.

Responses

Successful calls return a JSON object with a data field:
Action endpoints such as Clone Project return a status instead:
